A map is one canvas: one question, one decision, one investigation, with all of its thoughts and links. The two maps you get at signup (the example and your first map) count toward the five, and deleting the example frees a slot.

Yes. Whatever price you subscribe at is the price you keep, for as long as the subscription stays active. When Plus costs more later, it costs more for new subscribers, not for you.
One payment of $99 keeps Plus on your account for as long as Arguma runs, including Plus features added later. It isn't a subscription, so nothing renews and no card stays on file. It's sold during launch week only, on purpose: a product that sells lifetime deals forever isn't one that lasts. If you already pay monthly or yearly, buying lifetime stops that subscription from renewing.
